Alcohol Content in Grams
Convert drink volume and ABV to an estimated ethanol mass.
Your numbers
Pure alcohol mass
Approximate ethanol density at room temperature. Standard-drink definitions vary; this does not estimate blood alcohol, driving fitness or a safe consumption limit.

Formula
Use G = Va×0.789. V is drink volume in mL and a is alcohol by volume as a fraction. G is estimated ethanol mass in g. Divide by your entered grams per standard drink for standard-drink equivalents.

Scope and limitations

Inputs are checked for missing values and allowed ranges. A result outside the finite numeric range is not displayed. Rounding affects display, while the calculation uses the model’s numeric precision.
Check your units and assumptions before relying on a result. Changing a label does not convert a currency or physical unit.
