Offsets na fixed numbers of hours from UTC. Dem no carry daylight-saving rules, wey dey change by place and date.
Formula
Target time = source time − source UTC offset + target UTC offset, wrapped inside 24 hours. For minutes: target minutes = hour × 60 + minute − source offset × 60 + target offset × 60; if di result negative, add 1,440 (24 hours) and count one day earlier; if e reach 1,440 or more, subtract 1,440 and count one day later.
Di dropdown offsets na standard-time examples for di places wey dem name. Some places dey shift by one hour for daylight saving, and governments fit change offset rules sometimes. Confirm di offset wey apply for di exact place and date with official source.
Example wey show the calculation
09:00 at UTC+8 na 9 × 60 = 540 minutes; 540 − 480 (UTC+8) + (−300) (UTC−5) = −240 minutes. Add 1,440 and you go get 1,200 minutes = 20:00, one day earlier. So 09:00 for Beijing na 20:00 di previous day for New York standard time.
Where e fit work and limits
Dis page only dey change times of day with fixed UTC offsets. E no know dates, daylight-saving changes or old offset changes, and e no fit tell you whether one place dey observe daylight saving for one date. For scheduling, confirm di offset for di actual date with official source. Times dey shown to di minute; e no dey handle seconds.
Questions wey people dey ask often
This one dey handle daylight saving?
No. Di offsets na fixed numbers. Place wey dey observe daylight saving normally dey one hour ahead of im standard offset. For example, New York na UTC−4 during daylight saving instead of UTC−5. Check di offset for your actual date.

Wetin about zones wey get half-hour offset?
Dem dey included: UTC+05:30 (India) and UTC+09:30 (Adelaide, standard) dey for di dropdowns. Di formula dey work with minutes, so e dey convert dem exactly.
