TDEE for every activity level with your BMR

Di level wey you choose na di main result. Di other rows show how much only di category choice fit move di estimate.
TDEE for different activity levels at a glance
Dem scale di bars reach di extremely-active value for your BMR. All di values na kcal/day.
Formula
TDEE = Mifflin–St Jeor BMR × activity factor, where BMR = 10 × weight (kg) + 6.25 × height (cm) − 5 × age + 5 for men or − 161 for women. Di activity factors for here na: 1.2 mostly sitting, 1.375 small activity, 1.55 moderate activity, 1.725 plenty activity, 1.9 very heavy activity.
Example wey show the calculation
Weight na 65 kg, height na 170 cm, age na 30, female, with small activity (1.375): BMR = 10 × 65 + 6.25 × 170 − 5 × 30 − 161 = 1,401.5 kcal/day. TDEE = 1,401.5 × 1.375 = 1,927.1 kcal/day, or 13,490 kcal per week; 525.6 kcal/day of am na di activity increase above BMR. With di mostly-sitting factor, di same BMR dey give 1,681.8 kcal/day; with di very-heavy-activity factor, e dey give 2,662.9 kcal/day. Use Reset example above to get dis same result.
Where e fit work and limits
TDEE carry di limits of both parts: BMR na population equation wey fit differ for each person, and di activity factor na broad category wey person judge, no be measurement of real days. Two people fit choose di same label but get very different actual activity. Di average still dey hide changes from day to day. Di result na planning estimate, no be measured daily energy burn.
Dis page na for educational estimates for adults. Di original Mifflin–St Jeor study use healthy adults wey age reach 19–78; take care if you apply am beyond dat group or to person own medical circumstances. Dis no be measured metabolic rate or instruction for calorie intake.
Questions wey people dey ask often
Wetin be the difference between BMR and TDEE?
BMR na only energy wey body dey use at rest. TDEE dey multiply BMR by activity factor to include other things wey happen for di day.
How I go choose activity level?
Judge your normal week honestly: mostly sitting na sedentary, small daily movement na lightly active, regular training na moderately active, and hard daily training na very active. If you no sure, di lower category go give di more cautious estimate.
Why category dey change the result so much?
Because di factor dey multiply di whole BMR: if e move from 1.2 to 1.9, di example result go rise by about 58%. So wrong category na di biggest source of error for dis page.
Na calorie target be this?
No. Na estimate of energy use, no be recommendation for wetin to eat. Decisions about food intake involve goals and circumstances wey dis page no dey calculate.
Una dey store my data?
No. This calculation dey run locally inside your browser; values wey you enter no dey reach any CalcMintly database.
TDEE fit change with time?
Yes. Weight, age and activity all dey enter di equation, so entering your current values again go give current estimate.
