First collision week

—

A planning simulation, not a prediction. Weekly income and capacity are constant; upfront costs occur at each plan’s start. Plans outside the horizon are excluded. Time cannot be borrowed from another week; cash carries forward.

Formula

Each week, update cash with C = C+I−E−A−U and free hours with H = T−F−P. I is income, E is essential spending, A is active-plan recurring costs, and U is newly starting plans' upfront costs. T is available hours, F is fixed hours, and P is active-plan hours.

Scope and limitations

A planning simulation, not a prediction. Weekly income and capacity are constant; upfront costs occur at each plan’s start. Plans outside the horizon are excluded. Time cannot be borrowed from another week; cash carries forward.

Inputs are checked for missing values and allowed ranges. A result outside the finite numeric range is not displayed. Rounding affects display, while the calculation uses the model’s numeric precision.

Check your units and assumptions before relying on a result. Changing a label does not convert a currency or physical unit.
