Converters
Convert an amount at a rate you type in, less a fee percentage — this page never pretends to know the market rate.
Results update as you type. No calculate button. All calculations run locally in your browser.

| Item | Amount |

The fee is taken from the converted amount. Enter the rate your provider actually quotes, not a rate from memory.
Amount received = source amount × exchange rate × (1 − fee rate). Equivalently: gross = amount × rate; fee amount = gross × fee %; received = gross − fee amount.
| Input | Example value |
|---|---|
| Amount | 1,000 |
| Rate (example only) | 7.2 |
| Fee | 1% |
No rate is fetched from any market source. The default 7.2 is an example placeholder carried over from the original tool, labelled as such — it is not a quote, not current, and not a recommendation.
1,000 × 7.2 = 7,200 gross. A 1% fee is 7,200 × 0.01 = 72, so the amount received is 7,200 − 72 = 7,128. The effective rate is 7,128 ÷ 1,000 = 7.128 per unit.
This page does not provide a live or market exchange rate, and the default rate is an example only. Banks and payment providers add spreads and fixed fees that this single fee percentage may not capture; confirm the actual rate, spread, and any fixed charge before sending money. Display values are rounded to 6 decimal places; real providers round to the currency's smallest unit, which can change the final cents.
No. It is an example value (7.2) carried over from the original tool, clearly labelled as an example. This page fetches no market data — always replace it with a rate your provider quotes.
Only if you fold the spread into the fee percentage yourself. A provider quoting a worse rate than the market is charging you a hidden spread on top of any stated fee.
Subtract it from the gross yourself: received = amount × rate − fixed fee. This page models percentage fees only.
Because the fee percentage is deducted from the converted amount. With a 0% fee the two are equal.
Yes: divide instead of multiplying. If 1,000 units buy 7,128 at the example rate and fee, the reverse effective rate is 1,000 ÷ 7,128 = 0.140292 per unit.
