Component Availability
Combine independent component availabilities in series or parallel.

Combined availability
Assumes independence and ideal failover. Shared power, software, region and recovery dependencies can invalidate multiplication.
Scenario comparison
Up to three snapshots in this tab. Loading one replaces the current inputs.
Formula
For a series system use A = ∏Aᵢ. For ideal parallel redundancy use A = 1−∏(1−Aᵢ). Each Aᵢ is an independent component availability as a fraction.
Combine independent component availabilities in series or parallel.

Scope and limitations
Assumes independence and ideal failover. Shared power, software, region and recovery dependencies can invalidate multiplication.
Inputs are checked for missing values and allowed ranges. A result outside the finite numeric range is not displayed. Rounding affects display, while the calculation uses the model’s numeric precision.
Check your units and assumptions before relying on a result. Changing a label does not convert a currency or physical unit.
